GROUNDWATER EFFECT ON EXCAVATION OF A NEW METRO LINE IN BANGKOK SUBSOIL
Professional Master Program in Geotechnical Engineering and Management (PME-GEM), Asian Institute of Technology in Vietnam (AITVN) is pleased to announce and invite you to attend the seminar on “Effects of Groundwater on Excavation of a New Metro Line in Bangkok Subsoil”
In this seminar, the relevant experiences on pumping test analysis and dewatering consideration for a new MRT line in Bangkok, in particular how to select a reliable hydraulic conductivity of the sand layer in which the excavation will be made,  will be discussed through the presentation of Dr. Pham Huy Giao, Associate Professor from AIT Thailand.

The AIT graduation ceremony was organised successfully on 18 December, 2012. It is the second graduation with graduates coming from the three schools: SET, SERD and SOM. Our Professional Master programs offered at AIT-VN also joined the ceremony and had a meaningful and memorable graduation ceremony ever.
